Reader's Choice - Submit YOUR AU topic

AU 2007 will be here before you know it. Mark your calendars-- it will be held November 27-30 in Las Vegas. If you missed last year's event you will not want to miss this one.

I am opening up my blog for your suggestions. Let me know what topics you would like yours truly to cover. I will submit a course submittal on the top response. So here is your chance to make sure your topic is covered. It could be a topic in ADT or Revit. Just list your most desired topics in the comment section of this blog entry. What could be better than attending the world's best conference and attending a class that you personally suggested? Feel free to email me your suggestions with your contact information, and if AU selects the course I submit, I will contact you and recognize you at the event.

Mike,

I would love to see a methodology of sharing Revit Architecture, Structure and MEP models between independant entities taking advantage of interference reporting and copy monitor.

Since I don't see any other suggestions right now, you better get started :)!

I think this is a great idea. I have submitted it and put you down as an assistant to help me. Lets see if it gets accepted.

I was discussing with Todd Shackelford the need for a class dealing with organizing the Revit Views/Sheets using the national cad standard. I decided that I would like to have a little more control over how people name their views in our company. I have trained our staff for years how to name the cad files using the NCS model file naming convention. Why not continue that training to Revit.
(i.e. Level 1 = a-fp01, Section 1 = A-SCBD01, Detail 1 = A-DTDR01 etc...) I have already submitted my request to AU. Let’s see if they bite.
