There is a new Autodesk website available to search for Revit Content.
Go to http://seek.autodesk.com/. You can search by keyword, browse by CSI format, and filter it down by manufacturer. It appears to pull from multiple websites. It is a one stop shop for all your content searches.
There is also a built in search line inside of the Revit 2009 products that will launch this site.

I appreciate your blog a lot. Thanks.
Taking your advice I downloaded a .dwg file of an Andersen window I found using Seek.
It turned out to be a polymesh window (with quite a bit of detail) in a piece of polymesh wall. No layers other than two polymeshs. No materials.

I am tempted to ask: what good is that? But am tempered instead to ask how do you suggest it be used?
Do manufacturers know we have been using AEC content for a while now?
